The road inland passes through Achlathahori and several other ancient hill villages with old stone cottages and where they still live the traditional Greek way of life.
The countryside is mainly farmland with olive trees and fruit orchards. There are many spectacular views from the hills across the olive groves to the sea.

There are many shops and car hire is also available in the village.

There is a beautiful church in the centre of the village, surrounded on four sides by tavernas and cafeneos.

Other amenities include banks with International cash machines, fish market and medical centres.

 

Our villas are situated on a country road between the villages of Kalamaki and Achlathahori.

The villages of Kalamaki and Achladohori are both 1.5 km away and have very good local tavernas.

The nearest shop is in Chrani and is 5 Km from the villas.

A five minute drive will bring you to Petalidi, a lovely old fishing village with great character.

 

There are further bars and tavernas along the sea front where you can relax and watch the fishing boats come in with their catch, or just watch the sun set on the mountains across the water.

There are also two beaches in the village.
