How To Get Here
You will find Kolpos Thea in the South West Peloponnese. We are about 20 Kms South West of the main city, Kalamata. Our villas are just outside the village of Kalamaki on the road towards Kokino/Koroni.

Flights
There are two options for flights: you can fly direct to Kalamata airport from May until October and to Athens at all times of year.
Our villas are about half an hour's drive from Kalamata airport and taxis are freely available. However, we do strongly advise you to rent a car, so you could drive from the airport - it is an easy journey and we will be happy to send you directions when you book. We can also arrange car hire for you if you prefer.
From Athens the easiest way to come to our villas is to hire a car at Athens airport. The drive takes about 3 1/2 hours and is very beautiful. The first two-thirds of the journey is on motorways and, once past the exit to Pireaus at Athens, they are usually very quiet.

Trains and Buses
There are also trains and buses available from Athens to Kalamata at very reasonable prices. The links below will give you more information.
The train from Athens to Kalamata is narrow gauge and a very pretty journey. It is not expensive (currently 7€!!!) but rather slow. Trains leave from Athens Rail Station to Kalamata. Duration of journey 7 hours approx. For more information: Peloponnese Station, Tel +003 0105131601.
